Lake School is a participant in the School Based Program. This program provides schools, which have approved applications, extra money to be used to provide additional instructional and support services to all children in approved grades. Lake School is approved to use these funds in grades K-8. One requirement of the School Based Program is that our school has a council of parents, teachers and staff members. This council monitors the school programs and continually evaluates the school plan. Changes in the plan are made as the council sees the need.
All parents are encouraged to attend the School Site Council Meetings.
Each year we have vacancies on the School Site Council. Please leave a message for Judy Robertson at 865-1255 (school) or 345-4663 (home), if you would be interested in serving on the council or if you would like more information.
