Some exciting news for all Lake Panthers. The National School Lunch Program has extended the program offered this summer that allowed any child, 18 years and younger, to receive a free meal from any participating school site. What does this mean to you? It means that EVERY Lake Panther and siblings 18 years old and under may pick up a FREE MEAL at any school in the area participating in this program.
As you know, due to construction, we are not able to offer this program to our families. However, the schools in the surrounding area have shared their schedules with us.
Capay Elementary
Delivering every day between the hours of 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. to Orland, Hamilton, and Corning. Or at the school from 8:00 a.m. - noon. Contact Capay Elementary for details. 530-865-1222.
Orland Unified
Daily from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at CK Price and Fairview.
Plaza
Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Two locations - Plaza School and Grocery Outlet. (Except next week, due to Labor Day, Tuesday and Thursday.) To help count meals, Plaza is asking the community to submit a form for meal requests. Search for the Plaza Pirate Community Club on Facebook for a link to the form or call the school at 530-865-1250.
