Lake Elementary School District

Hi everyone! My name is Lacey Gilmore, and I am going to be the new Transitional Kindergarten (TK) teacher at Lake Elementary School! Way back when, I was once a Lake student for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. In 2023, I graduated from Chico State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. Since graduating from Chico State, I have worked as a Head Preschool Teacher for a private program, and also a Teacher/Director for Head Start. I currently am enrolled in an online program in hopes to achieve my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, as well as my Teaching Credential. Through the years, I have worked with children of all ages, and have specifically worked in the childcare field for 3-4 years. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and traveling to different places. I have a huge passion for working with children, and it is such a honor to be a part of their learning journey. I am so excited to be back at Lake School, and join the Lake Panther community again!
